W-2 employees should prepare recent pay stubs (30 days), employer contact information, and prior year W-2. Self-employed renters need two years of tax returns, year-to-date profit and loss, and bank statements showing consistent deposits.
Retirees may use Social Security awards, pension statements, and investment account summaries. International renters should prepare visa documentation, employment letters, and proof of funds in U.S. accounts when possible.
